Chapter 20

Nick wakes up middle of night for that Mary's cell is going to ring. 

“Oh god. Could you please answer that, babe?” Nick asked half asleep. 

Mary put lights on and answer her phone. 

“Hello?” Mary questioned. 

“Hey. It's me.” Nina said in other line. 

“Hey... Don't you know that time here is 3am?” Mary asked. 

“Sorry. I'm coming back. I have anything to do now that you are gone. Where are you staying at?” Nina asked. 

Mary looks at Nick who is sleeping. 

“About that. We are at Nick's house. I'm kinda of Nick's girlfriend now.” Mary said and stands up of the bed away from room to talk in peace.

“What? You got to be kidding me.” Nina asked. 

“I'm not. All is going to change now if you come here. He's going to have feeling for you all over again.” Mary said. 

“I'm sorry, but I don't have any other place to go. And actually I'm coming there for another reason.” Nina said. 

“Really? What's that?” Mary asked. 

“I'm going to meet someone. His name is Nick too. Nick Fatone. He's dolphin trainer.” Nina said. 

“Oh wow. Nick huh? That's great. Can I meet him someday?” Mary asked. 

“Sure. But hey. I gotta go. I need to go to my plane now. Go back to sleep and say hi to others.” Nina said. 

“You want me to say hit to Carter?” Mary asked. 

“Sure. That's cool.” Nina said. 

“Okay. Have a nice flight. When you land to New York?” Mary asked. 

“8pm. Nick is coming to pick me up.” Nina said. 

“Please use last name.” Mary said begged laughing. 

“Fatone is going to pick me up.” Nina said laughing. 

“Much better thanks. Call me tomorrow if you have some time to meet.” Mary said. 

“I will. Sleep well.” Nina said. 

“Thanks. Alarm is on to 8am. That's time when Carter need to get up.” Mary said yawning. 

“Okay. I didn't need to know that.” Nina said. 

“Oh one more thing.” Mary said smiling. 

“What?” Nina questioned. 

“We met Hayden. Hannah got a date with him.” Mary said. 

“Oh My God. That's great!” Nina said exciting. 

“Yeah I know. But hey. You go to your plane and we talk about this better tomorrow.” Mary said. 

“Alright. Sleep well.” Nina said. 

“I will. Bye.” Mary said and hung up. 

Mary walks back to bedroom and sees Nick to be awake. 

“Who was that?” Nick asked very sleepy. 

“Nina. She's coming back to USA.” Mary said and get lay down on bed. 

“Nina? Why she comes back?” Nick asked. 

“She's gonna meet this one guy.” Mary said and turn off the lights and start to sleep. 

“One guy? What's his name?” Nick asked. 

“Nick.” Mary said eyes closed. 

“Nick? Like me as Nick?” Nick questioned. 

Mary laughs and put the light back on. 

“No... It's this one dolphin trainer Nick Fatone.” Mary said. 

“You have to be kidding me?” Nick asked chocked. 

“What?” Mary asked. 

“I know 1 dolphin trainer Nick Fatone. I hate that guy.” Nick said. 

Mary looks at Nick and start to think. 

“Oh wow. You might think it's the same guy?” Mary asked. 

“I hope not. He's not so nice guy what he told.” Nick said. 

Mary is quiet for moment and start to think. 

“What if it's not the same person?” Mary asked and looks at Nick. 

Nick looks at Mary. 

“If you say Nick Fatone, all are knowing who we are talking about. Nick is very famous around here.” Nick said. 

“Should I call her about him?” Mary asked. 

“No, don't. Let her do whatever she wanna do. I could be wrong. He might be change.” Nick said. 

Mary looks at Nick and takes deep breath. 

“Nick? I need to tell you something what I heard from at school.” Mary said. 

Nick looks at Mary to curious look on his face. 

“What? What did you heard?” Nick asked. 

“Just don't get mad. Okay?” Mary asked friendly. 

“Okay. I won't. What is it?” Nick asked. 

“It's about Richie.” Mary said. 

Nick looks at Mary and is confused. 

“Richie? Babe I don't follow.” Nick said. 

“You know Ray too right?” Mary asked. 

“Yeah...” Nick said still bit confused. 

“Well he told me something about Richie.” Mary said. 

“Just tell me. I can see it's make you crazy.” Nick said and was worried. 

Mary looks at Nick and is not sure how to told him. 

“Ray said... Richie was... Oh god. I can't tell you.” Mary said and stand up off the bed. 

Nick stands too and walks to Mary. 

“Hey... It's okay. Tell me.” Nick said and hugged Mary behind. 

“Don't hate me.” Mary said. 

Nick looks at Mary to her eyes. 

“Tell me.” Nick begged. 

Mary looks at Nick and takes deep breath. 

“Ray thinks Richie raped Emilia too same time with Ethan.” Mary said.

“What?! How Ray could think of that?! Richie is my friend! He would ever do that for her!” Nick snapped and yelled at her. 

“See! You get mad!” Mary yelled at him back. 

Nick looks at Mary very angrily. 

“How on earth Ray thinks that my best friend raped my girlfriend?” Nick asked very loud voice. 

“He just told me! And I believe his word! Richie creeps me out!” Mary yelled. 

Nick looks at Mary and shake his head. 

“I can't believe this. You trust unknowing guy more than me! This is too much that you think my friend raped Emilia. That's crazy!” Nick yelled louder. 

“Nick stop! You scare me!” Mary said and runs out of the room. 

“Hey! We aren't finished!” Nick yelled and runs after her. 

“Yes we are. Leave me alone.” Mary said and walked downstairs. 

Bob wakes up the voice and walks to living room. 

“What on earth, guys?” Bob asked wondering. 

“He started to yell at me about something I didn't do!” Mary yelled and pointed at Nick. 

“How dare you?!” Nick asked yelling at her. 

“Shut up!” Mary shouted. 

“Okay! Enough. Stop both of you. This is crazy.” Bob said. 

Nick looks at Mary. 

“My friend would ever do that.” Nick said trying to be calm. 

“What if you are wrong?” Mary asked. 

“Oh god. I believe my friends more than you. We've been only date week now. You disgusting me.” Nick said. 

Mary hits hard to Nick's face. 

“Son of bitch!” Nick yelled and touch his nose what is bleeding. 

Bob walks middle of the fight and shout. 

“ENOUGH! Mary? Why did you hit him?” Bob asked. 

“He's such a jerk.” Mary said. 

“Tell him. Tell him what you just told me.” Nick said nose still bleeding. 

“Nick? Go fix your nose. I handle this.” Bob said. 

“Fine.” Nick said and left to bathroom. 

Bob looks at Mary. 

“So... What is fight about?” Bob asked calmly. 

“I'm sorry Mr. Carter. I just told Nick that I heard from school that Rich Zusi rapped Emilia with Ethan.” Mary said. 

Bob looks at Mary. 

“How told you that?” Bob asked. 

“Ray Brosnan.” Mary said. 

“Oh no... Mary... What have you done?” Bob asked. 

“What?” Mary asked confused. 

“Ray's been on nut house.” Bob said. 

Mari got chocked and feels herself so stupid. 

“I didn't know that. Oh my god. Nick might thing I'm such stupid. I feel stupid.” Mary said and was still chocked. 

“Oh don't. You couldn't know.” Bob said. 

“Damn... How Ray could have on his mind that Richie raped Emilia?” Mary wondered. 

“Well... Ray got a crush on Gwen.” Bob said. 

Mary looks at Bob confused. 

“Ray is crush on Gwen?” Mary asked. 

Bob sit on chair. 

“Ray's been mentalcase long time.” Bob said. 

“I need to go find Nick and ask apology.” Mary said. 

“You do that. That was nice punch thought.” Bob said smiling. 

“I feel so terrible.” Mary said and left to find Nick. 

Bob stands up and sees BJ. 

“Hey there. You okay, sweetheart?” Bob asked. 

“Mary is speaking truth dad. You have to believe her.” BJ said. 

“What? BJ?” Bob wondered. 

“Richie did raped Emilia. I saw it.” BJ said. 

Bob stands closer to BJ and hugs her. 

“I'm here. You are safe.” Bob said and calmed her down. 

“I saw every night nightmare of it, dad. I need to tell Nick.” BJ said. 

“It's okay. You are safe.” Bob just said. 

“You won't get it dad. Richie raped Emilia.” BJ said and went back to sleep. 

Bob took deep breath. 

“Oh my god. What if BJ is right?” Bob asked himself out loud.
