Chapter 16

Nick sit on his bed and takes his cell. 

He search Mary's number and looks at for while but then doorbell rings. 

Nick start to wonder and walks downstairs to front door. 

He opens the door and notice Mary. 

“Hey... I thought you left.” Nick said surprised. 

“I can't go anywhere without my scarf.” Mary said looking at Nick smiling. 

“I found it. It's upstairs.” Nick said smiling. 

Mary walks inside. 

“Are you stay view more days?” Nick asked following Mary. 

“I bought fly ticket tomorrow morning.” Mary said and walks to bed room and notice her scarf. 

“I hoped you gonna stay.” Nick said smiling and walks to bedroom. Mary takes her scarf and looks at Nick. 

“You hope too much.” Mary said smiling. 

“I know. I really like you. I had amazing weekend.” Nick said smiling and looked at Mary. 

“I had too. Other girls already left to Finland without me. I'm big girl to travel by myself.” Mary said. 

“Do you have place to be?” Nick asked. 

“Yes. I had rented a room from hotel.” Mary said. 

“Too bad. I thought you might would stay here.” Nick said smiling. 

“I would love to but my stuff are at hotel.” Mary said smiling. 

“Well that ain't gonna stop you. I'll pay your room tomorrow and drive you to airport.” Nick said smiling. 

“You are so sweet. I don't have pjs.” Mary said. 

“You can sleep naked. You had sleep last 2 days naked.” Nick said flirting. 

“I know, but I really need my own time.” Mary said smiling and walks out of the room. 

Nick walks behind Mary to downstairs. 

“Please. Just stay. I'll promise to be good boy.” Nick said. 

Mary walks to front door and looks at Nick. 

“Please stay. I feel so lonely.” Nick said. 

Mary took deep breath and start to think. 

“Okay. I'll stay, but I don't want you to take me to airport... I'll that myself. Okay?” Mary asked. 

Nick lift his hand up. 

“Fine. You are the boss.” Nick said smiling. 

“I'll call one phone call.” Mary said and walks to backyard. 

“I'll make us some lunch.” Nick said smiling when he walked to kitchen. Mary shut the backyard door and calls to her sister. 

Hannah looks at her phone and notice that it's Mary. 

“hey. Where are you?” Hannah asked. 

“I went to get my scarf back from Nicks house. I'm gonna stay over night here.” Mary said as speaking her own language so Nick wouldn't understand. 

“What? You are crazy. Come right now back.” Hannah said. 

“I'm fine. I have a plan.” Mary said. 

“What plan?” Hannah asked. 

“When Nick is sleeping, I'll leave middle of night there.” Mary said. “What if he wakes up?” Hannah asked. 

“I just tell him that I can't sleep and I go to eat some night snack.” Mary said. 

“What if he thinks it's good idea and want too?” Hanna asked. 

“Oh please come on. If that really is gonna happen then why is it so bad Nick knows that I'm going stay to USA?” Mary asked. 

“Coz he have feelings for Nina too.” Hannah said. 

“He told me today inside of car that his feels have change. We actually are getting very good.” Mary said. 

“Don't tell me you are gonna tell him the truth.” Hanna said worried. “Maybe I will.” Mary said. 

“No Mary. Don't do that.” Hannah said. 

“Why? I wanna be happy at least once in my life! And I won't take advice from you! I'm gonna tell him the truth!” Mary said shouting to phone and hang up on her. 

“Mary!?” Hannah shouted to her phone and hang up on hers and hit it to wall. 

Tina looks at Hannah and looks worried. 

“What she did now?” Tina asked. 

“She's gonna tell him the truth for staying here!” Hanna shouted to Tina. 

“No need to yell!” Tina shouted back and left out of room. 

“Tina... I'm sorry.” Hannah said, but she was gone.

Mary walks back inside to kitchen. 

“Hey... U okay? I heard shouting.” Nick said looking at Mary worried. “I called to my sister. We fought.” Mary said and sit around the table and start to suddenly crying. 

Nick walks next to Mary and put her head against his chest. 

“Oh god. Don't cry...” Nick said trying to calm her down. 

“I lied to you.” Mary said quietly still crying little bit. 

“About what?” Nick asked. 

“I don't have ticket to Finland. Hannah and Tina are in USA too. We are gonna stay here. Nina is only one who left back to Finland.” Mary said voice broke down. 

Nick looks at Mary. 

“Why didn't you say so earlier? This is good.” Nick said smiling. 

“I just thought it was good idea to be not contact with you.” Mary said. “Oh don't. I wanna get to know you better.” Nick said smiling and looked at Mary's crying eyes. 

“You do? I feel like stupid now to not tell you earlier. I was so scare.” Mary said eyes wet. 

Nick smiles and whip years away from Mary's cheek. 

“No need to scare. I really do.” Nick said. 

Mary smiles a little bit. 

“That's much better. I like your smile.” Nick said smiling. 

“I hate it.” Mary said smiling and get shy. 

Nick looks at Mary and gives small kiss to cheek and touch her softly on cheek. 

Their eyes connect and Nick start to kiss Mary's lips softly. 

Mary kiss him back and they gonna kiss passionate. 

“So this means we are going to date?” Nick asked. 

“You hope too much.” Mary said smiling. 

“Really? So I'm wasting my time with you?” Nick asked smiling. 

“Yes. I need to concentrate for studying.” Mary said looking at Nick. “So you are going to studying here?” Nick asked smiling and exciting. “Yes. I need to go academy tomorrow and so many other things to do and trust me. You don't wanna date me.” Mary said smiling. 

“I can live with that you are studying. I can pay your books.” Nick said smiling. 

“See that's the point. I don't want you to. I can buy them all by myself.” Mary said serious look on her face. 

“I wanna help.” Nick said smiling. 

“You as friend is good enough for me Nick.” Mary said smiling. 

“I want more.” Nick said looking at Mary to her eyes. 

“Please... I don't wanna date when I'm studying.” Mary said. 

“You must be kidding me.” Nick said looking at Mary. 

“I'm not. I've been single all my life. I wanna think of dating when I'm graduate.” Mary said looking at Nick. 

Nick takes Mary's hands to his and looks at them. 

“I can wait. I'll be single that long when you graduate.” Nick said and put his look back to Mary's eyes. 

Mary looks at Nick. 

“Please don't. You need a woman around you. And I can't offer you that.” Mary said looking at Nick. 

“What was that kiss about?” Nick asked. 

“You kissed me.” Mary said. 

Nick takes deep breath and moves away form Mary. 

“You are right. Sorry. I shouldn't kiss you like that, but I so want it.” Nick said. 

“It's okay. I like kissing you too. Just found someone who loves you as you, not as Backstreet Boy.” Mary said looking at Nick. 

Nick looks at her smiling. 

“You are so unbelievable. How on earth I can let you go. You are that kinda of girl who I need.” Nick said. 

“Let's be friends Nick. I'll come visiting you sometimes when I have free time.” Mary said. 

“Promise?” Nick asked smiling. 

“I promise. You can count on me.” Mary said smiling.

“So what we gonna have a lunch?” Mary asked looking at around the kitchen. 

“I'll take you out.” Nick said smiling. 

“Rule number 1: Don't ever take friend to out for lunch.” Mary said. “So we gonna have some rules huh?” Nick asked smiling. 

“We gonna need those. Rule number 2: No sex.” Mary said showing 2 fingers up. 

“Unfair. I was hoping get laid.” Nick said. 

Mary laughs. 

“Maybe you get lucky tonight last time with me.” Mary said smiling. “Number 3?” Nick asked. 

“No kissing.” Mary said. 

“4?” Nick questioned. 

“don't break the rules.” Mary said.

Chapter 15

Next morning Nick drives girls by himself to airport. 

All are very quiet until Tina says. 

“Nick? Hows your album selling? Girls can't stop talking about it at home.” 

Nick smiles and looks at Mary quickly while driving. 

“It's selling great. Need to go soon European Tour. Too bad I won't come to Finland.” Nick said and stop car to lights. 

“Why is that?” Hannah asked. 

“Well I got busy schedule.” Nick said and looks at when light goes green. 

“What about Backstreet Boys concert?” Nina asked. 

“I think we will come. When my tour is over I'll go back to studio and record new album with guys.” Nick said and start to drive when light is green. 

“Cool. We can't wait.” Mary said smiling. 

Nick smiles and takes Mary's hand and give a small kiss on it. 

“I'll send you first copies of it. To you too Tina even you don't care of shit.” Nick said smiling. 

“Thanks I guess. I'll promise to keep it save if you sign it.” Tina said. “Oh I will.” Nick said and point to airport. 

“We are here. I can't come in cause someone could notice me there.” Nick said and stop car to parking lot. 

“Was nice to meet you Nick. Thank you to let us stay at your place.” Tina said and gets off the car. 

“Yes. Say hi to other guys and to Aaron.” Hannah said. 

“Want me to say hi to Hayden too?” Nick asked smiling. 

“You know him?” Nina asked. 

“Duh! We are good buddies.” Nick said laughing. 

“Would you do that?” Hannah asked exciting. 

Nick nods smiling. 

“Sure.” Nick said. 

“Thank you.” Hannah said and gives kiss to Nicks cheek before get out of the car. 

Nick looks at Mary and Nina. 

“I'm gonna miss you both. Hopefully we'll meet again.” Nick said. 

“Oh we will. Thanks for nice weekend Nick.” Nina said and get out of the car. 

Nick smiles and looks at Mary. 

“I kinda of have that feeling she doesn't like me.” Nick said smiling. “Oh she does. She just thought you are interested of me.” Mary said. “Maybe last night changed my mind. I had fun.” Nick said smiling. “What are you saying?” Mary asked smiling looking at Nick. 

“Maybe I have feelings for you anyway.” Nick said and moves closer to Mary giving a kiss to lips. 

Mary doesn't move and looks at Nick to eyes. 

“What?” Nick asked looking at Mary when he gave a kiss. 

“Nothing... I got this feeling that you don't know who you should be with.” Mary said. 

“Please don't. I'm a guy.” Nick said. 

“Sorry. It would take long time when we meet again. I hope all the best to you.” Mary said smiling. 

“Don't go.” Nick said looking at Mary. 

“What?” Mary asked. 

“Don't go. Stay. I don't want you to go. I feel myself again around you. If you go I'm gonna be hopeless again.” Nick said. 

“I can't stay, Nick. I have to study.” Mary said. 

“Please... You can study here too.” 

Tina knock the window. 

“Mary. We gotta go.” Tina said. 

Mary get out of the car. 

Nick get out of the car and walks girls to forward looking at them. “Please stay. You can leave at my house as free.” Nick said. 

“Do you mean only Mary or all of us?” Tina asked. 

Nick looks at Tina. 

“Including you 3 too.” Nick said. 

“Girls... I wanna stay. I don't wanna go home. I can't stand my mom.” Tina said. 

“1 want to stay. Hannah?” Nick said. 

Hannah looks at her sister. 

“What you say sister? Wanna stay?” Hanna asked. 

Mary looks at her back and then put look back to Nina. 

“It would be difficult to me and Nina.” Mary said. 

Tina and Hannah looks at both. 

“What?” Hannah asked. 

“Nick have feelings for me too.” Nina said. 

Tina and Hannah looks at Nick. 

“What?” Nick asked. 

“If we gonna stay you got to promise to be only with one.” Tina said. “Or none of them.” Hannah said. 

“Fine. I'll behave.” Nick said. 

“I wanna go home.” Nina said. 

Girls looks at Nina. 

“Then we come too.” Mary said. 

“Well then... I guess we go back to home.” Hannah said. 

“Okay... I wish we gonna meet again.” Nick said and looks at Mary. “You got my phone number and address.” Mary said. 

Nick walks closer Mary and hugs her. 

“I'll be gonna miss you.” Nick said. 

“I'm gonna miss you too.” Mary said and hugs Nick back. 

Girls take their stuff and start to walk in. 

Nick look behind girls so long when he don't see them.

“Are we doing right thing to go home? This is our chance to stay here and start live here.” Tina said when she was walking. 

“I've been think of it too, but it would be hard to be around Nick.” Nina said walking next to Tina. 

“You two could share him.” Hannah said joking. 

“Not funny. It's disgusting even think of it that Nick got both of us.” Mary said. 

“I said the same thing.” Nina said looking at Mary same time walking. “And how I would continue my studying?” Mary asked. 

“Just go to academy and tell that you wanna end school here.” Tina said. 

Hanna stops and doesn't move. 

Girls start to wonder and Tina ask, 

“What is it?” 

“I'm gonna stay. I don't care what Uncle says. I'm staying.” Hannah said and turns back. 

Mary looks at Nina and Tina. 

“What we gonna do? We can't leave her here all by herself.” Mary said. 

“You know... We can stay not telling Nick. And you two should not worried about cat fight.” Tina said smiling and runs after Hannah. 

Nina looks at Mary. 

“You can stay. I can get home all by myself. I'm big girl.” Nina said. “No, Nina. I'll come with you. I don't wanna stay here either. They can do what ever they wanna do.” Mary said looking at her best friend. “You go and have amazing life. I call if I'm around.” Nina said and start to walk to gate. 

Mary looks after Nina and looks very sad. 

“Bye! Promise me to call when you get home.” Mary shouted to Nina. Nina only nods when she walks to plane. 

Mary runs after girls trying to catch them. 

Hannah notice that Mary came back alone. 

“Where's Nina?” Hannah asked. 

“She's not gonna stay.” Mary said. 

“She went to home?” Tina asked. 

“Yeah... She said she'll be fine.” Mary said. 

“So where we gonna go now?” Tina asked. 

“I guess find a hotel.” Hannah said. 

“Then we go find a hotel.” Mary said and walk to nearest taxi. 

Girls follow Mary and they started to live their life in USA without Nina.

Nick drives back home and sit on couch taking deep breath putting TV on. 

He sees cartoons what comes on TV and he start to watch it. 

15 minutes later Nicks cell start to ring and he answer it. 

“Yes?” Nick said answering his phone. 

“Hey man. I heard you got 4 students at your house.” Howie said on the other side of phone. 

“Hey D. Yes I did. They were nice. Very nice.” Nick said looking at TV where was Scoopy Doo running away from ghost. 

“What are you watching man?” Howie asked. 

“Scoopy Doo. Girls watched a lot when they were here.” Nick said and turn off the TV and stand up. 

“So what's up D?” Nick asked and walks to kitchen. 

“Nothing much. Just wanted to call and say good luck to Tour.” Howie said. 

“Thanks D.” Nick said and take apple and start to eating it. 

“So I'll guess we see around when tour is over.” Howie said. 

“Yes. I call you at tour.” Nick said. 

“Yes. Sounds good.” Howie said. 

“If you don't mind I wanna go to pack my stuff. I talk to you later.” Nick said. 

“Alright. Take care, man.” Howie said. 

“You too, D. Bye.” Nick said eating apple. 

“Bye.” Howie said and line was off. 

Nick put his cell his pocket and goes to bedroom packing his stuff. 

He notice something on bed and looks at it. 

“What is this?” Nick wonder. 

He lift it up and notice it's Mary's scarf. 

“This is her favorite scarf. She might gonna think where's her scarf.” Nick said out loud. 

And yes Mary did at hotel. 

“Girls. Did I have scarf with me?” Mary asked. 

“No.” Tina said. 

“Shit!” Mary said out loud and run out of room.

Chapter 14

Nick drive back his house 8pm and walks in. 

“Hello? I'm back.” Nick said and looks around. 

“Mary? You here?” Nick asked and didn't hear any answer. 

He checks the kitchen and notice that table is set ready for two. 

He taste beef with fork and notice it's cold. 

”She must be mad I didn't answer her message and didn't call and tell her I won't come home until 8pm.” Nick said in his mind. 

Nick walks to living room and notice open wine bottle on the couch table. 

Nick lift it and realise it's empty. 

“Did she get herself drunk?” Nick wondered. 

Nick start to look whole house finding Mary. 

He find her on his bed calmly sleeping. 

Nick walks closer to bed and get on bed lay down next to her looking at her sleeping. 

“How someone can be so beautiful?” Nick asked quietly himself and touched her hair away from her face to see her better. 

Suddenly Nick heard laughing near by the door and gets off the bed to door. 

“Oh god Hayden was so handsome. I have to see Star Wars 3.” Hannah said dreaming of Hayden Christensen. 

“Girls....” Nick said whispering. 

All 3 looks at Nick. 

“What?” Nina asked. 

“Mary has fall asleep coz she drank whole wine bottle.” Nick said whispering. 

Hannah looks in to Nicks bed room where she notice her little sister sleeping on the bed. 

“And you let her drink whole bottle?” Tina asked whispering. 

“Well... I wasn't here she drank it.” Nick said whispering. 

“What? You didn't have a date or anything tonight?” Nina asked quietly. 

“No... It went late that I thought. I just came home myself too.” Nick said quietly. 

“Don't you have no idea how much she made that meal for you two?” Hannah asked angrily. 

“Keep your voice down, please.” Nick said begging quietly. 

“And yes. I do know. When she wakes up I tell her how sorry I am. Battery was dead and I couldn't call her.” Nick said. 

“Do you think we should believe that? You winked to Nina today.” Tina said. 

“Yes I did that. Only coz of teasing her. I like teasing her.” Nick said and wink to her again. 

“You pervert. I almost thought you got some feelings for me and to my best friend.” Nina said and hit Nick to shoulder.

“You deserve it.” Nina said and walks to guest room. 

“Our flight leaves at 10am tomorrow, Nick. You better make it up to her somehow before we are leaving.” Hannah said and leaves with Tina to guest room. 

Nick looks behind the girls when the went to guest room and then he goes back to his room closing the door. 

He walks to bed and goes lay down again next to Mary. 

“I'm so sorry I didn't come. I'll make it up to you tomorrow morning.” Nick said quietly looking at sleeping Mary. 

Nick stand up to sit on bed and take clothes off and goes back laying down. 

Nick cover Mary's whole body with blanket trying to not waking her, but she start to move and looks at Nick. 

“Nick?” Mary said little confused. 

“Yes. I'm here. Just sleep. You've been drank a lot.” Nick said quietly. “Where were you? I waited for you.” Mary asked very sleepy and drunk. 

“At work. It went late that I thought it would. And my battery was dead so I couldn't call you.” Nick said quietly. 

“I made that dinner 3 hours and I ate alone.” Mary said sleepy. 

“I'm sorry. I tired to go but others didn't let me go. You told me this morning I should do work. And I did. Very good beef by the way. I taste it as cold.” Nick said quietly and smiled at Mary. 

“I like to cook. It's in my vain.” Mary said smiling. 

“What you say I make it up to you for doing a breakfast to you tomorrow morning?” Nick asked smiling. 

“Sounds good. Problem would be that Nina is gonna wake up early to do it.” Mary said. 

“How early?” Nick asked. 

“6am.” Mary said her eyes closed. 

“Then I wake up 5 and make you big... No HUGE breakfast.” Nick said laughing. 

“Hopefully not whole fridge.” Mary said laughing. 

“Oh be careful with your words. That might gonna happen.” Nick said and start to kiss Mary. 

“You don't wanna kiss me.” Mary said laughing and moves Nick away from her. 

“Oh I have been kissing drunk girls before.” Nick said joking. 

“Very funny. Let me go brush my teeth.” Mary said and stands up off the bed. 

“I gotta see how you walk to bathroom.” Nick said laughing and looks at Mary who is walking like she's very wasted. 

“Everything is spinning.” Mary said and close her eyes and open eyes again. 

“It's just you. You are so wasted.” Nick said. 

“Oh god I feel so dizzy.” Mary said and sit down to floor. 

Nick laughs and stand off the bed to kneel to her level to see her face. “You should just lay down and drink some water. Want me to bring some water?” Nick asked smiling. 

Mary nods. 

“Okay. Come on, sexy. On the bed now.” Nick said and helps Mary up and on the bed. 

“Sexy? I'm far from that. Just look at me. I'm drunk.” Mary said. 

Nick take her dress of on her and but it aside. 

“You were sexy that dress on you. Looks good on you.” Nick said smiling and cover Mary's body. 

“You are so sweet. I should know you are getting very busy today and I just... Oh just fuck it...” Mary said and fling her hands a lot. 

Nick laugh a bit. 

“I'll go now to get you that water. You stay, okay?” Nick asked. 

Mary gets up and is going to get off the bed. 

Nick took deep breath. 

“Where you are going now?” Nick asked. 

“I need to go pee and throw up.” Mary said not feeling good.

Nick helps Mary to bathroom. 

“You gonna be okay while?” Nick asked. 

Mary nod and suddenly start to throw up. 

“Oh god.” Nick said and left to kitchen before he throw up himself too. Nick walks downstairs and sees Nina watching TV. 

He walks to kitchen like is acting like he wouldn't care her. 

“Hi Nick. Is Mary still sleeping?” Nina asked when she notice Nick. Nick walks in back and smiles. 

“Throwing up. How's that?” Nick asked. 

Nina purse her nose. 

“Okay thanks for sharing.” Nina said. 

Nick laughs and walks to kitchen. 

Nick comes back to living room in 5 minutes later. 

“Good night.” Nick said and was walking to stairs, but suddenly Nina says. 

“Nick wait for moment.” 

“What?” Nick asked and looks at Nina. 

“Just be honest to me. What you think of me?” Nina asked. 

Nick looks at Nina and walks stairs down to Nina's level. 

Nina's heart start to beat fast when Nick walks closer. 

Nick stop walking and looks at Nina to her eyes. 

“I think your are hot. Hotter than I was imagine it. I'm only with Mary to be near by you.” Nick said whispering it to Nina's ear. 

“Then why you didn't told that yesterday?” Nina asked whispering. Nick looks at Nina. 

“Coz... Mary reminds me a lot Emilia. And now I know that I can finally move on and Mary only helped me to move on. Nothing more.” Nick said whispering and left to upstairs. 

Nina is sitting down and is choked by the thing Nick said to her. 

Nick is walking back to bedroom and smiles when he notice Mary is back on bed. 

“You made yourself to bed.” Nick said and gives water to Mary. 

“Yes. Thank you.” Mary said and takes water. 

She drinks whole water and gives glass back to Nick. 

“That thirsty?” Nick asked smiling for taking glass back and put it on night stand. 

“Yes. I was very thirsty.” Mary said smiling. 

“Nina is still awake. She asked your feeling.” Nick said. 

“She told me you are teasing her.” Mary said smiling. 

“Yeah. She's very cute. I'm not gonna lie to you Mary, but... Don't get mad, okay? I had feelings for Nina.” Nick said. 

Mary looks at Nick. 

“Like same feelings for me?” Mary asked. 

“Maybe more. You look so much about Emilia and I just wanted to touch someone who look just like her. You are very sweet Mary, but... All things I have been said aren't lie, but... I don't think there's future between us.” Nick said looking sorry look on his face. 

“Not even as friends?” Mary asked. 

“Yes! We can be friends!” Nick said laughing and start to tickles Mary hardly. 

“No! Nick! Stop!” Mary shouted laughing. 

Nick isn't stopping and just keep tickling her. 

Mary laughs so hard that she's soon going to pee. 

“Oh god Nick! Stop! I need to go pee!” Mary shouted laughing hard. Nick stops laughing. 

“Oh no... Go.” Nick said laughing. 

Mary stands up off the bed and looks at Nick smiling. 

“You fall for my trick.” Mary said smiling. 

“No you didn't... That's unfair. Come back here.” Nick said and stand up off the bed smiling. 

Mary run to rooms door to escape. 

Nick is faster and take Mary around his arms laughing. 

“You are bad. Bad, bad girl.” Nick said. 

Mary laughs and try to get off Nicks arms. 

“Just let me go.” Mary said laughing. 

“Why? You are mine now.” Nick said and carry her back to bed. 

“No. Nick... Please.” Mary said begging and laughing. 

Nick laughs and put her back to bed lay down. 

“You look feeling much better.” Nick said smiling. 

Mary just lay down on bed without movement. 

“I feel much better.” Mary said. 

Nick looks at Mary and jump on bed next to Mary. 

Mary looks at Nick. 

“Having feelings for Nina huh?” Mary asked. 

Nick smiles and looks at Mary. 

“Don't get wrong but you are very beautiful.” Nick said. 

“So it's been only sex?” Mary asked. 

Nick smiles and fall on his back to bed. 

“And it was so good.” Nick said.
