Chapter 10

Girls were eating pizza with Miky. Nick wasn't still showed up after leaving out of house. 

“Hopefully Nick is alright. Were we too interested of him and Emilia?” Mary asked. 

Miky looks at girls and eats small piece of his pizza. “He sometimes is acting like this. It's normal. I think you shouldn't talk about Em anymore around him.” Miky said. 

Girls nods same time and eats their pizzas. 

“I can see Nick got own beach.” Tina said looking outside. 

“Yes. You can go swim if you want.” Miky said. 

Girls looks at each other. “Girls? Wanna go night swim?” Nina asked. “I'm in.” Hannah said. 

“I would love to swim in ocean.” Tina said. 

Miky points to Tina. “That it ain't ocean. It's lake.” Miky said. 

“Lake? Like there's no one his neighbour?” Nina asked. 

“He owns that lake.” Miky said. 

“Oh wow. I so gonna enjoy my days in hard way.” Hannah said and drinks her coke. 

“Mary. Wanna join with us to swim? You've been so quiet.” Tina said. “Sure. Problem is that... I forgot buy swimsuit.” Mary said eating her pizza. 

“Where do you need swimsuit. We swim naked!” Nina said laughing. Miky laughs. 

“Oh Nick would like to see naked girls swimming in his lake.” Miky said. 

“Shut up, Miky!” Girls said same time and start to throw pieces of pizza to him. 

Miky laughs and shout. “No foodfight!” 

Girls stops and laughs. 

“I swear god if you seek even little bit when we go to swim we kill you.” Tina said. 

Miky lift his hands up. “Put me hand coffs.” Miky said flirting to girls. Girls start to laugh so hard that they all almost start to fall of chair. Hannah almost choke to her coke coz of hard laughing. 

“You alright, Hannah?” Miky asked laughing. 

“Yeah... I'm fine. Thanks.” Hannah said still coughing for bit. 

Nina hit Hannah to her back. “Laugh first and then drink.” Nina said and smiles. 

“You girls are so hilarious. Too bad Nick isn't here to see this.” Miky said smiling. 

Girls looks at Miky. “We aren't that bad fans. We only want to have fun. Is fun forbidden?” Nina asked. 

“No... Fun is good thing.” Miky said. 

“Then I guess we can have some party.” Tina said. 

“Not good idea.” Miky looks at Tina. 

“Why? What bad is to have a party?” Hannah asked. 

“Alcohol.” Miky only said. 

“Mary is only one who had drink some cider. We others don't do that. Mostly me. I hate alcohol” Nina said. 

“Hey! I'm not drunker!” Mary shouted laughing and looks at Nina. 

“I didn't said that. I only mention you had drink some cider.” Nina said friendly yo Mary. 

“It's the same thing!” Mary said laughing. 

“No it's not.” Nina said. 

“It is.” Mary said. 

“No it's not.” Nina said. 

“Yes.” Mary said. 

“No.” Nina said. 

“Yes.” Mary said. 

“Shut the fuck up!” Nick shouted behind the girls. 

“Nick? We were waiting for you.” Miky said. 

Nick walks closer the table and looks at Nina and Mary. 

“Behave or you are out.” Nick said serious look in his face. 

“She started it!” Mary and Nina said same time. 

“Just shut up! Both of you.” Nick said looking at girls. 

Mary and Nina went quietly. 

“So... What's the problem girls? Huh?” Nick asked and looked at Mary and Nina. Both are quiet. Nick looks at Hannah and Tina. 

“Would you tell me why they were fighting about?” Nick asked. Hannah looks at Tina. “About alcohol.” Hanna said. 

“Alcohol?” Nick looked Hannah confused. 

“Why?” Nick asked. 

“Nina mention Mary is drinking cider and Mary shouted her that she ain't drunker.” Hannah said. 

Nick looks at Mary. “You drinking?” Nick asked. 

“Sometimes. But it's not a lot. Maybe 2 cider in weekends.” Mary said. Nick take slice of pizza and walks away not saying a word. 

Miky looks at girls. 

“He don't like fightings, so... Make sure there ain't fighting.” Miky said. Girls nods. “We will behave.” Mary said. 

“Good. And now that you are here view days... That means you need to do some homework. Hannah & Nina do the dishes. Mary's and Tina's turn is tomorrow.” Miky said.

Hannah & Nina started to wash the dishes while Tina is watching TV and Mary is sitting on chair at backyard looking at the stars. Nick walks to backyard from the beach and sees Mary sitting alone. He walks closer and and looks at up. 

“Waiting for something falling down?” Nick asked. 

Mary jumps a little and takes breath. 

“Jeez. Try to kill me by frighting me?” Mary asked. 

“Sorry. I didn't meant to. Can I join you?” Nick asked and pointed next to Mary. 

“Your backyard and chairs.” Mary said smiling and looks back to sky. Nick sits down and looks at sky. 

“Seriously... Why you look up there?” Nick asked wondering. “Watching stars makes me calm.” Mary said and looks at Nick. Nick looks at Mary and smiles. 

“That's not any sense. That's so stupid.” Nick said smiling and looked at Mary. Mary laughs and looks down to her feet. 

“Everybody says that.” Mary said. Nick smiles and looks at Mary. “You look very shy type.” Nick said. Mary nods and looks at Nick. 

“I am. It's so odd to be here with you. This been my dream to come USA and maybe change to meet you. I guess I was too lucky.” Mary said smiling looking at Nick. 

Nick sits closer to Mary and smiles. 

“You look so much about Emilia. Hair, eyes, lips... Damn you two could be twins.” Nick said. 

Mary looks at Nick odd look on her face. 

“Oh right... So I'm now Emilia to you.” Mary said. 

“No... You are Mary to me. It's so spooky to see someone who looks so much about her.” Nick said and touch Mary's hair aside. 

“Nick... if you didn't notice... I'm 13.” Mary said looking at Nick. 

Nick stops touching Mary.

 “13? You look much older.” Nick said. 

“Everybody says that too. All thinks I'm Hannah's big sister, but she's mine big sister.” Mary said. 

Nick looks little sad. 

“You look like you were wishing me to be older.” Mary said. 

“Yeah. I mean... You really look very hot to be 13.” Nick said and looked at Mary. Mary get shy. 

“Stop. I can't be.” Mary said and stands up. 

“I'm so embarrassed right now.” Mary said hiding her face to behind her hands. 

Nick stand next to Mary. “Don't be. You are very beautiful.” Nick said. Mary shows her face and looks at Nick. 

“That's much better.” Nick said smiling. 

“Don't hide your beautiful face. It makes me sad if I can't see your pretty face.” Nick said. 

Mari smiles very shy and looks at Nick. “Thanks. I feel so... Loved... No one ever had say how beautiful I am.” Mary said. 

Nick moves closer to Mary and start to kissing her lips. 

Mary walks away from him. 

“What you are doing?” Mary asked. 

“I'm sorry. I thought you wanted.” Nick said. 

“it was nice, but come on... We just met.” Mary said and walked back inside. Nick took deep breath and start to think of himself. 

“You are asshole, Carter! Asshole! Why did you kissed teenage girl? Why why why?!”
