16
Nick
sit on his bed and takes his cell.
He search Mary's number and looks
at for while but then doorbell rings.
Nick start to wonder and walks
downstairs to front door.
He opens the door and notice Mary.
“Hey...
I thought you left.” Nick said surprised.
“I can't go anywhere
without my scarf.” Mary said looking at Nick smiling.
“I found
it. It's upstairs.” Nick said smiling.
Mary walks inside.
“Are
you stay view more days?” Nick asked following Mary.
“I bought
fly ticket tomorrow morning.” Mary said and walks to bed room and
notice her scarf.
“I hoped you gonna stay.” Nick said smiling and
walks to bedroom. Mary takes her scarf and looks at Nick.
“You hope
too much.” Mary said smiling.
“I know. I really like you. I had
amazing weekend.” Nick said smiling and looked at Mary.
“I had
too. Other girls already left to Finland without me. I'm big girl to
travel by myself.” Mary said.
“Do you have place to be?” Nick
asked.
“Yes. I had rented a room from hotel.” Mary said.
“Too
bad. I thought you might would stay here.” Nick said smiling.
“I
would love to but my stuff are at hotel.” Mary said smiling.
“Well
that ain't gonna stop you. I'll pay your room tomorrow and drive you
to airport.” Nick said smiling.
“You are so sweet. I don't have
pjs.” Mary said.
“You can sleep naked. You had sleep last 2 days
naked.” Nick said flirting.
“I know, but I really need my own
time.” Mary said smiling and walks out of the room.
Nick walks
behind Mary to downstairs.
“Please. Just stay. I'll promise to be
good boy.” Nick said.
Mary walks to front door and looks at Nick.
“Please stay. I feel so lonely.” Nick said.
Mary took deep breath
and start to think.
“Okay. I'll stay, but I don't want you to take
me to airport... I'll that myself. Okay?” Mary asked.
Nick lift his
hand up.
“Fine. You are the boss.” Nick said smiling.
“I'll
call one phone call.” Mary said and walks to backyard.
“I'll make
us some lunch.” Nick said smiling when he walked to kitchen. Mary
shut the backyard door and calls to her sister.
Hannah looks at her
phone and notice that it's Mary.
“hey. Where are you?” Hannah
asked.
“I went to get my scarf back from Nicks house. I'm gonna
stay over night here.” Mary said as speaking her own language so
Nick wouldn't understand.
“What? You are crazy. Come right now
back.” Hannah said.
“I'm fine. I have a plan.” Mary said.
“What
plan?” Hannah asked.
“When Nick is sleeping, I'll leave middle of
night there.” Mary said. “What if he wakes up?” Hannah asked.
“I just tell him that I can't sleep and I go to eat some night
snack.” Mary said.
“What if he thinks it's good idea and want
too?” Hanna asked.
“Oh please come on. If that really is gonna
happen then why is it so bad Nick knows that I'm going stay to USA?”
Mary asked.
“Coz he have feelings for Nina too.” Hannah said.
“He
told me today inside of car that his feels have change. We actually
are getting very good.” Mary said.
“Don't tell me you are gonna
tell him the truth.” Hanna said worried. “Maybe I will.” Mary
said.
“No Mary. Don't do that.” Hannah said.
“Why? I wanna be
happy at least once in my life! And I won't take advice from you! I'm
gonna tell him the truth!” Mary said shouting to phone and hang up
on her.
“Mary!?” Hannah shouted to her phone and hang up on hers
and hit it to wall.
Tina looks at Hannah and looks worried.
“What
she did now?” Tina asked.
“She's gonna tell him the truth for
staying here!” Hanna shouted to Tina.
“No need to yell!” Tina
shouted back and left out of room.
“Tina... I'm sorry.” Hannah
said, but she was gone.
Mary
walks back inside to kitchen.
“Hey... U okay? I heard shouting.”
Nick said looking at Mary worried. “I called to my sister. We
fought.” Mary said and sit around the table and start to suddenly
crying.
Nick walks next to Mary and put her head against his chest.
“Oh god. Don't cry...” Nick said trying to calm her down.
“I
lied to you.” Mary said quietly still crying little bit.
“About
what?” Nick asked.
“I don't have ticket to Finland. Hannah and
Tina are in USA too. We are gonna stay here. Nina is only one who
left back to Finland.” Mary said voice broke down.
Nick looks at
Mary.
“Why didn't you say so earlier? This is good.” Nick said
smiling.
“I just thought it was good idea to be not contact with
you.” Mary said. “Oh don't. I wanna get to know you better.”
Nick said smiling and looked at Mary's crying eyes.
“You do? I feel
like stupid now to not tell you earlier. I was so scare.” Mary said
eyes wet.
Nick smiles and whip years away from Mary's cheek.
“No
need to scare. I really do.” Nick said.
Mary smiles a little bit.
“That's much better. I like your smile.” Nick said smiling.
“I
hate it.” Mary said smiling and get shy.
Nick looks at Mary and
gives small kiss to cheek and touch her softly on cheek.
Their eyes
connect and Nick start to kiss Mary's lips softly.
Mary kiss him back
and they gonna kiss passionate.
“So this means we are going to
date?” Nick asked.
“You hope too much.” Mary said smiling.
“Really? So I'm wasting my time with you?” Nick asked smiling.
“Yes. I need to concentrate for studying.” Mary said looking at
Nick. “So you are going to studying here?” Nick asked smiling and
exciting. “Yes. I need to go academy tomorrow and so many other
things to do and trust me. You don't wanna date me.” Mary said
smiling.
“I can live with that you are studying. I can pay your
books.” Nick said smiling.
“See that's the point. I don't want
you to. I can buy them all by myself.” Mary said serious look on
her face.
“I wanna help.” Nick said smiling.
“You as friend is
good enough for me Nick.” Mary said smiling.
“I want more.”
Nick said looking at Mary to her eyes.
“Please... I don't wanna
date when I'm studying.” Mary said.
“You must be kidding me.”
Nick said looking at Mary.
“I'm not. I've been single all my life.
I wanna think of dating when I'm graduate.” Mary said looking at
Nick.
Nick takes Mary's hands to his and looks at them.
“I can
wait. I'll be single that long when you graduate.” Nick said and
put his look back to Mary's eyes.
Mary looks at Nick.
“Please
don't. You need a woman around you. And I can't offer you that.”
Mary said looking at Nick.
“What was that kiss about?” Nick
asked.
“You kissed me.” Mary said.
Nick takes deep breath and
moves away form Mary.
“You are right. Sorry. I shouldn't kiss you
like that, but I so want it.” Nick said.
“It's okay. I like
kissing you too. Just found someone who loves you as you, not as
Backstreet Boy.” Mary said looking at Nick.
Nick looks at her
smiling.
“You are so unbelievable. How on earth I can let you go.
You are that kinda of girl who I need.” Nick said.
“Let's be
friends Nick. I'll come visiting you sometimes when I have free
time.” Mary said.
“Promise?” Nick asked smiling.
“I promise.
You can count on me.” Mary said smiling.
Nick smiles.
“So what we
gonna have a lunch?” Mary asked looking at around the kitchen.
“I'll take you out.” Nick said smiling.
“Rule number 1: Don't
ever take friend to out for lunch.” Mary said. “So we gonna have
some rules huh?” Nick asked smiling.
“We gonna need those. Rule
number 2: No sex.” Mary said showing 2 fingers up.
“Unfair. I was
hoping get laid.” Nick said.
Mary laughs.
“Maybe you get lucky
tonight last time with me.” Mary said smiling. “Number 3?” Nick
asked.
“No kissing.” Mary said.
“4?” Nick questioned.
“don't
break the rules.” Mary said.
“Is there more rules?” Nick asked
smiling.
“Don't come on mind.” Mary said.
“How about be friend
forever?” Nick questioned.
“That's good. That's 5.” Mary said.
Nick take paper and write all down.
“We got rules. This friendship
sucks, but I can live with that.” Nick said smiling.
