Chapter 13

Nick hold Mary on her arms when they are just lying on bed. Nick is gonna open his mouth for stop silence, but doesn't saying anything. Mary gets up for bit and looks at Nick watch. 

“It's 8am. Don't you need to go for work or something?” Mary asked. “Yeah... But I can stay here if you want.” Nick said. 

“No. Don't stay coz of me. I'll be fine and I got my friends.” Mary said looking at Nick to his eyes. 

“If I got to studio, I wouldn't ever get the out of there until 8pm.” Nick said. 

“That's fine by me. You need to do work. And I'm on your way.” Mary said and gets of bed and put morning glow on her. 

“Oh come on. You are not. I can totally call to Max that I won't go to work today.” Nick said. Mary looks at Nick. 

“Go to work. This is on order.” Mary said and throw a t-shirt to Nick. “You gonna be boss in this house now huh?” Nick asked laughing and takes t-shirt. 

“I don't like lazy butt guys.” Mary said and walks out from Nicks bedroom to guest room. Nick smiles himself and start to dress up to work. Other girls are watching TV when Nick walks to downstairs. “Can I give you girls a hint?” Nick asked. 

“What?” Tina asked. 

“There never comes anything this time a day.” Nick said smiling. 

“We like to watch cartoons.” Hannah said looking at TV. 

Nick looks at TV. 

“Oh I forgot I got Nickelodeon channel.” Nick said and sit to couch next to Nina. Nina looks at Nick odd look on her face. 

“Going somewhere?” Nina asked. 

“To work, but it can wait.” Nick said and looks at Nina smiling. Nina put her look back to TV and smiles. Nick realize that Nina is very beautiful. He start to think that maybe Mary isn't very good for him. He should try his lucky with Nina. Tina laughs with Hannah when something funny happens on TV. Nick looks at TV and smiles. Nina eat some cornflakes from cup and Nick put his hand teasingly to take some to himself. 

“Hey! Get your own.” Nina said laughing and hit Nick to shoulder. 

“My house and my cornflakes.” Nick said laughing and take again some cornflakes from cup. 

“Will you to be shut up? We are trying to watch.” Tina said looking at Nick and Nina. 

“Nick is teasing me.” Nina said. 

“I'm not.” Nick said smiling. 

“Yes you are.” Nina said. Nick laughs and stands up. 

“Okay. I'll go to work. I'll try to be back 6pm. Then I'll take you to my parents house. You'll gonna meet my family” Nick said. 

“Cool.” Hannah said. 

“Bye girls.” Nick said and winked to Nina before he left to work. 

Nina realize the wink and looks at girls. 

“Nick winked at me.” Nina said. Hannah and Tina looks at Nina. 

“He did?” Tina asked. 

“Yeah. What that means?” Nina asked. 

“He likes you and Mary.” Hannah said. 

“Oh no... I'm not gonna share same guy with my best friend. Disgusting.” Nina said. 

“Maybe he was only teasing you.” Tina said. 

Nina start to think of it moment and smiles. 

“Yeah. That was teasing.” Nina said. 

Hannah and Tina put their looks back to TV screen and laughs about cartoons. Nina sit down without moving and start to think on her mind. “It was same wink he gave to Mary. He can't be gonna be interested of me. He have Mary. Mary would get insane if she could find out Nick winking at me.” Nina said.

Nick drives to work and can't stop think of Nina. 

“What is it on this girl? Why I don't think of Mary? This is insane.” Nick said out loud to himself. 

Time flies by and time is 6:55pm. Nick says apologize to Max to not be himself today and left to off work. Nick walks to his car and suddenly familiar voice calls his name. 

“Nick.” Woman said. Nick turns around and sees Paris. 

“What are you doing here?” Paris asked. 

“I want to talk to you.” Paris said. 

“We don't have anything to talk about. Go home.” Nick said and opens the cars door. 

“Please... Nick... It's important.” Paris said and looked afraid. Nick regonize the look and knows she wouldn't ever fake this one. 

“What's wrong?” Nick asked. Tear falls to her cheek. 

“I'm pregnant.” Paris said crying. 

“What?!” Nick asked shouted. 

“I'm pregnant. Just found out yesterday night.” Paris said crying. 

“You are kidding me right?” Nick asked. 

“No. I got result from doctor in my bag.” Paris said and start to dig her bag. 

“Oh god Paris. We used protection all the time.” Nick said looking at her. Paris gives to Nick paper. 

“Well test is positive.” Paris said and dry tears away. Nick looks at paper word by word. 

“1 week ago. We were at Keys. I know I used condoms. This must be mistake.” Nick said looking at piece of paper. 

“It's not. My private doctor made the test.” Paris said. 

“Yours? No... I don't trust your doctor.” Nick said and gives a paper back to her. 

“You are gonna meet my doctor. I trust my doctor. I wanna be sure you ain't lie to me.” Nick said. 

“But Nick... We got same doctor.” Paris said. Nick take paper off her hands and start to look doctors name. 

“Tim Bauer. Shit.” Nick said out loud. 

“God damn it!” Nick said and hit his hand hard to his car. 

Paris scared of Nick's shouting and start to afraid. Nick hold his hand and looks at Paris. 

“I think I broke my hand.” Nick said and try to moves his hand but useless. 

“You were very stupid to hit your hand to your car. Come on. I'll take you to see Tim. We can talk about this pregnancy thing too.” Paris said. 

“No! We are not going anywhere. I'm going. You just go home.” Nick said and sit inside of his car. 

“But Nick. You can't drive with one hand.” Paris said. 

“Just keep quiet. Leave me alone.” Nick said and hit the door close when he had sit in car. Paris sit his car and just start to sit. 

“I know you won't take me back, but you got to trust me on this one. Let me take you to Tim.” Paris said. 

Nick looks at steering wheel and hit his head on it so horn goes on. “Stop please.” Paris said begged. 

“Paris... I got girlfriend. Just go away.” Nick said. 

“Girlfriend? You found very fast when I left yesterday.” Paris said. Nick looks at Paris. 

“Please just go. I don't want your help.” Nick said. 

“Fine. Have a fucking great life.” Paris said and stand out of car and walks away. 

Nick hit his left hand to steering wheel many time before it hurts badly. “Shit!” Nick shouted. Nick heard cell beeping. He looks at his cell and see a text message from Mary. 

“Are you still getting very late? Girls left to watch a movie and it's you and me only in the house. Mary” 

Nick put the cell on his lap and start to think. 

“What I'm gonna do? Am I gonna act around Mary that I don't like Nina too?” Nick asked himself.
