Chapter Two

Nick wakes up and walks to downstairs to kitchen half awake. He walks to fridge and takes milk. He sat down around the kitchen table and start to eat bread, eggs and bacons. Jane looks at Nick and start to speak, but Nick open his mouth first.

“I know what you going to say. Nick loves his cousin and it's forbidden. So typical of you and dad, mom. Is it good for you if I wouldn't ever have a girlfriend in my life?” Nick said and looks at mom.

“Nick you deserve much better. I know the right girl there is somewhere.” Jane said.

“Emilia is right girl for me mom. No one else. I don't giving damn is she my cousin or not. I'm going to ask her to marry me.” Nick said and drinks his milk.

“Marry her?” Jane asked.

“Yes and Emilia's parents can't stop me. She will say yes.” Nick said and leaves the kitchen to upstairs to wake up Aaron.

“Aaron?” Nick knocks Aaron's door.

“A? Time to wake up.” Nick said and doesn't hear nothing.

“So you don't talk to us now or are you just tired?” Nick asked. Still no answer.

“I'll go get mom and dad to wake you up if you don't open up.” Nick said and still doesn't hear anything.

“I'm coming in. Naked or not.” Nick said and laughs when he opens the door, but the room is empty.

“Aaron? Are you here?” Nick asked and checks Aaron's room. “Odd...” Nick looks at to table and sees a letter.

“What is this?” He wondered and takes the letter and begin to read it. 
“Dear family. I had enough with you guys. I run away from home and I need some time. Nick? I had crush on to Emilia too about years now. I wrote her letter too and told her how I feel. Mom and Dad I love you so much. Take care. A.”

Nick runs downstairs to kitchen.

“Mom! Aaron had run away. Here's the letter I found from his room.” Nick said and gives the letter to Jane.

Jane read the letter and start to wonder. “Aaron got feelings to Emilia too? Oh My God...” Jane said.

“I know. I'll go to check on Emilia. Where's dad?” Nick asked and wondered to putting jacket on.

“At work. I call him and then a cops.” Jane said and takes the phone. 
“Okay. Be right back.” Nick said and left Emilia's home and ring the doorbell.

Michelle opens the door and doesn't look very happy.

“Hey Mrs. Affleck. I came to see Emilia.” Nick said and tried to be very friendly.

“What part you didn't get last night? Leave Emilia alone.” Michelle said.

“Please Mrs. Affleck. I got just letter with my family from Aaron who had run away from home. He told in the letter that Emilia got the letter too.” Nick said.

Michelle looks at Nick angry look on her face. “We know, but she never get the letter. We don't want her to be apart of you or your family. Please now leave or I'll call cops.” Michelle said and begged when she closed the door.

Nick start to thinking and looks at up to Emilias room window.

“I gotta tell her even I afraid hights.” Nick said out loud and start to climb to behind the window and sees her sitting on the bed reading book. Nick knocks the windows carefully that parents doesn't hear it. “Emilia.” Nick said whispering.

Emilia looks at windows and sees Nick. “Nick?” Emilia stands up on the bed and opens the window to Nick.

“Are you crazy? My mom can see you.” Emilia said whispering.

Nick comes quietly inside and smiles.

“She did when I was in front door. I need to talk to you.” Nick said whispering.

“Say it quickly and then you have to leave.” Emilia said whispering. “Aaron run away from home and he wrote you a letter, but your parents didn't give it to you. He loves you too, Em.” Nick said quietly. “What?!” Emilia asked loud. Nick stuck her mouth with his hand. “Quiet please.” Nick begged. Michelle heard something and walks behind the Emilias door.

“Emilia? Is everything okay?” Michelle asked.

“Yes... Everything is okay. Just read some unbelievable thing about Madonna. It made me shock. Nothing more.” Emilia said lying.

Nick looks at Emilia wondering.

“Can I come in, dear?” Michelle asked.

Nick shake his head to Emilia.

“I was just coming down. Is lunch ready?” Emilia asked.

“In 30 mins dear. Are you sure you are okay?” Michelle asked.

Emilia looks at Nick and whispering to him.

“Hide to my closet.” Nick goes to closet and stays there quiet.

Emilia opens the rooms door.

“What?” Emilia asked looking at her mom.

“Are you talking to someone?” Michelle asked.

“No. Here's no one.” Emilia said and sit to her bed.

“So what's up mom? Any new news?” Emilia asked.

Michelle looks at her daughter and try to keeps letter secret as possible.

“There's no new news. So hows reading to exam going, dear?” Michelle asked smiling.

“Bad. So bad. I can't stop think of Nick.” Emilia said and took deep breath.

“You got to forgot the boy and move on. Ethan take you out for dinner the day after tomorrow.” Michelle said smiling.

“Ethan? Oh mom... Ethan and I are history. He cheated on me, remember?” Emilia asked.

“Give him a chance. He's a good boy. So handsome and good looking.” Michelle said.

“Then why don't you date him then, mom?” Emilia asked.

“Coz I got your dad. I love him the most.” Michelle said.

“And now. I promised to Ethan that you two go out and I keep that promise.” Michelle said.

“But I don't want to!” Emilia yelled.

Nick listen whole time and wondering quietly.

“Ethan? Does she mean Ethan Street?” Nick asked himself in his mind.

“You are going and that's it!” Michelle yelled back and leaves at her room. Emilia shut the door and locks the door.

“Nick? She's gone. Come out.” Emilia whispered.

Nick walk out of the closet.

“Ethan Street?” Nick asked whispering.

“I didn't know it until now.” Emilia said whispering.

“Don't you remember what he done to you?” Nick asked whispering. “Of course I do. Mom doesn't care.” Emilia said.

Nick takes deep breath and sit down to on bed.

“Oh god... What you are going to do? You can't just go out with him. He will do it again.” Nick said whispering.

“I can only run away from home. Just like Aaron did.” Emilia said and start to packing.

“No Em. Don't do it. I love you.” Nick said whispering.
"I love you too, Nick. But if I stay here he will do it no matter what.” Emilia said whispering same packing.

Nick goes his one knee and looks at Emilia.

“Em? Will you marry me?” Nick asked.

Emilia looks at Nick in shocked.

“Nick? Are you crazy? My parents are downstairs. Stand up.” Emilia said whispering.

“No until you answer my question. Will you marry me?” Nick asked again on his one knee.

Emilia looks at Nick unsure look in her face.

“Nick? I thought you don't wanna get married.” Emilia said.

“But I do. I wanna spent rest of my life with you. So please... Will you marry me?” Nick asked smiling.
