Chapter 17

Hannah, Mary & Tina are staying at Nick's house while they gonna find apartment their own. 

It's Monday morning and girls need to go school. 

Nick have make breakfast to girls. 

Tina woke up first and walks to dining room and see at the table. “Wow. Who made all this?” Tina asked wondering. 

Nick walks out of kitchen to dining room fruits with him and smiles. “Morning Tina. How did you sleep?” Nick asked. 

“Morning. I did slept very good thank you. Did you made this?” Tina asked and sit down around the table. 

“Yeah. It's cool right?” Nick asked when Hannah walks to dining room half awake. 

“Morning.” Hannah said and sit down to chair. 

“Morning. Coffee?” Nick asked smiling. 

“Yes please. I can't go to school like this.” Hannah said. 

Nick give coffee to Hannah. 

“I can drive you girl to school.” Nick said. 

Tina looks at Nick. 

“You really could do that?” Tina asked. 

“Sure. Why not?” Nick asked smiling. 

“That would be awsome. Thank you Nick.” Hannah said and drinks her coffee. Nick smiles and looks at girls. 

“So any plans after school?” Nick asked. 

“No. Not really.” Tina said. 

“Wanna go to bowling?” Nick asked. 

“Bowling is nice. We can do that.” Hannah said. 

Tina looks at clock and start to wondering where is Mary. 

“Where's Mary? We need to go soon.”

Hannah stands up. 

“I'll go is she awake.” Hannah said and goes to Mary's own room and knocks the door. 

“Mary! Wake up! It's school day!” Hannah yelled. 

No answer and Hannah opens the door and sees that room is empty and bed is already make. Hannah walks back to dining room. 

“She had already left.” Hannah said. 

“What? I've been awake since 6am.” Nick said confused. 

Suddenly Mary walks inside from back door and smiles to all. 

“Good morning.” Mary said. 

“Where were you?” Tina asked. 

“Working out.” Mary said taking apple and start to eating it. 

“What time you wake up?” Nick asked. 

“6:30. Why?” Mary asked. 

“I was awake 6. I didn't see you go anywhere.” Nick said. 

Mary smiles and looks at Nick. 

“I saw you at kitchen making breakfast. I think I was too silence. Sorry.” Mary said. 

“It's okay. If you gonna work out tomorrow, just say good morning if you see me.” Nick said. 

“Every day?” Mary questioned. 

“That would be good.” Nick said. 

“Alright. We need to go. Mary? You ready to go?” Hannah asked. “Yes. I just need to go get my books and stuffs.” Mary said and walks fast to upstairs. 

Nick looks after Mary and whispers to girls. 

“Do you think I have change with her when she had end the school?” Nick asked whispering. 

“Are you that crush on to my sister?” Hannah asked. 

“Yes. I promised to her to be only friends but I think I can't.” Nick said. Tina looks at Nick. 

“Look. Mary had once bad relationship with someone and it didn't end very well.” Tina said. 

“I can be much more.” Nick said. 

“Really? You didn't showed up to dinner she made for you.” Hannah said. 

“We are over that. Can we let that go?” Nick asked. 

“Sure. We can. But trust me. It's gonna take for while that Mary is ready to be with someone.” Tina said. 

Mary walks down and looks at others. 

“Are we going?” Mary asked. 

“Yeah. Let's go.” Nick said and takes his car keys.

Nick drives to school and stop the engine. 

“Okay. Be good. Don't find in first school day.” Nick said jokingly. Hannah and Tina get out laughing and walks to school door. 

Nick looks at Mary who is sitting in front next to him. 

“You ok?” Nick asked. 

Mary looks at school and takes deep breath. 

“I don't know. I'm kinda of afraid.” Mary said and turn to looks at Nick. “You are going to be fine. Call me if something goes wrong.” Nick said smiling. 

“Okay. I'll do that. Thanks.” Mary said and step out of the car and runs after Hannah and Tina. 

Nick looks after them when they are inside. 

“You are going to be just fine.” Nick said out loud when he start the engine and drives away to work see other guys.

Mary start to find class number 546 and looks at the piece of paper when suddenly someone run into her and she goes confused. 

“Oh I'm sorry.” Cute guy said and looks at Mary smiling. 

“It's okay. I'm fine.” Mary said. 

“You are new here. I'm Richie.” he said. 

“Yes I'm new.” Mary said and start to walk. 

Richie start to laugh. 

“Oh come on. Can I hear your name?” Richie asked and start to follow Mary. 

“It's “Stay Away From Me.” Have you ever heard that kinda of name?” Mary asked jokingly and looks at Richie. 

“I'm just trying to be nice.” Richie said smiling. 

“Hey, Rich! Leave her alone. Are you start to hiding on her or something?” Another cute boy showed up. 

Mary looks at Richie and then to other guy. 

“It's not your bisnes, Jerk. Go back to your mommy.” Richie said and push him. 

“Hey stop.” Mary said and goes between both of them. 

“Would you both be adults here, please?” Mary begged. 

“I'm just trying to be nice.” Richie said. 

“Last time when here came new student you used her.” another guy said. 

“Oh really, Ray? How you gonna prove it?” Richie asked. 

Mary shakes her head and walks away. 

“You assholes. Go to hell both of you.” Mary said same time walking. “See ya later sweetheart!” Richie shouted after Mary. 

Mary walks to near ladies room and empty toiletbooth. She sit on the toilet and takes her phone and text to Nick.

“Oh God! 1 guy started to hitting on me and then this one guy started to safe me from it. I want to back your place. Mary.”

“Want me to come there and talk to those guys? Nick.”

“No, no, no. You make it worse. I'm gonna survive this day. See you at 3:45pm. Mary.”

“Be careful. Don't talk to no one except to Hannah and Tina. Nick.”

When Mary reads the latest message of Nick someone walks to bathroom. 

“I mean Oh my god. That new girl is going to take Richie away from me. Did you see how they talked each other?” One girl said. 

“Oh yes. What a bitch. Where is she from anyway? Sweden?” Other girl said. Both started to laugh. 

“Oh you are so mean. Hows things with you and Jeremy?” first one asked. 

“Oh Gwen... He's been so busy with his football team.” second girl said. 

“Oh Lusia. I'm sorry.” Gwen said. 

“What if that bitch gonna take him away from me too?” Lusia asked. Mary had heard enough and comes out of toilet booth. 

“Oh let me tell you. Not gonna, bitches.” Mary said and walks out of bathroom. 

Lusia and Gwen looks at each other. 

“Oh My God. She heard us whole this time?” Gwen asked wondering. “She better stay away from Jeremy and Richie.” Lusia said. 

“You are right. Let's go after her. We'll teach her how to be at this school.” Gwen said and take her stuff with her when they start to follow Mary outside of the school. 

"Hey new girl! We want to talk.” Lusia shouted. 

Mary stops and looks to girls. 

“Look. I'm not interested of both of your boyfriends. Richie started to hit on me. And I never had meet Jeremy.” Mary said looking at both of them. 

“Just stay away our way. And if you even little bit talk to them. You are dead.” Gwen said and push Mary a bit. 

“Yo Gwen! Whatta hell are you doing?” Richie asked when he comes to near by them. 

"Richie. Hi baby. I've been missing you.” Gwen said and start to touch him form chest. 

“Did you just pushed her?” Richie asked and looks at Mary. 

“No. Of course not. Why would I do that?” Gwen asked. 

“You did pushed me. You said to be stay away from him and Jeremy.” Mary said. 

Richie looks at Gwen. 

“Wow. Gwen. Why did you said that?” Richie asked. 

“Coz you are mine. I don't want some other girls talk to you.” Gwen said. 

“Oh fuck off, Gwen. She didn't do anything. Don't blame someone who didn't do anything.” Richie said. 

“But she...” Gwen started to say. 

“No! We are done! I'm over you!” Richie said shouting. 

Everybody start to look at Gwen and Richie when Richie shouted at Gwen. 

“You don't mean that.” Gwen said. 

“Oh yes I do. Oh Lusia. Jeremy is looking for you. He's at gym.” Richie said and left. 

Gwen walks behind Richie and start to beg him to not to leave her. Lusia looks at Mary who is just texting with her phone. 

“I'm sorry.” Lusia said. 

Mary looks at Lusia confused. 

“What? I didn't get that.” Mary said. 

“I said I'm sorry. And Gwen is too.” Lusia said. 

“Oh I bet she would never been as sorry. No need to be.” Mary said and goes back to inside. Lusia stand for moment but then walks to Mary. 

“Wanna hear a secret that no one knows?” Lusia asked. 

Mary stops walking at looks at Lusia. 

“You try to be friends with me?” Mary asked. 

“Who know. Maybe.” Lusia said smiling. 

“Go to see your guy. He must be sick of worried about you.” Mary said and start to walk again. 

“Gwen's cousin is Paris Hilton. That's why she's like that.” Lusia said. Mary stops and turns around. 

“What? She's Paris's cousin?” Mary asked. 

Lusia walks closer to Mary. 

“You didn't hear this from me.” Lusia said. 

“I live with Nick Carter.” Mary said. 

“Wh- wh-what?” Lusia asked chocked. 

Mary smiles and laughs. 

“You heard me correctly. He brought me here this morning. You didn't hear this from me.” Mary said and goes to class room.

Nick start to be worried coz Mary hasn't answer to him back after latest message he send for her. He drives at to school and try to be invincible as possible. He put cap on is head and sun glasses. He walks hall ways and realize Mary to talk with someone. He walks closer and touch Mary's shoulder. 

“Hi.” Nick said quietly. 

Mary turns around and freezed a bit. 

“What are you doing here?” Mary asked quietly. 

Nick take sun glasses away and looks at Mary. 

“You didn't respond to my message. I get worried.” Nick said. 

Mary walks to cleaning room. 

“Come here.” Mary said and push Nick to inside of the room. 

Nick looks at room and smiles. 

“Oh wow. Never thought I could get to place like this.” Nick said jokingly. 

Mary close the door and looks at Nick. 

“You are crazy to come here. Someone could notice you.” Mary said. Nick only smiles and looks at her. 

“What?” Mary asked. 

“I was worried about you. If something happens to you, I'm your guardian. Everything comes to me.” Nick said. 

“So you are like my big brother now.” Mary said. 

“I hope there could be more.” Nick said. 

“You got to stop saying that. I already told. I don't want to...” 

“Be on any relationship right now. I know. But you drive me crazy. I want you.” Nick said and looks at Mary to her eyes. 

“Oh god, Nick. Just stop. I'm sorry I didn't respond your message. I got some issues to do. 2 girls thinks I steel their boyfriends.” Mary said. 

“What? That's crazy. Tell me who and I speak to them.” Nick said. 

“No need to. I already had talk to them.” Mary said. 

“Yeah? So everything is okay?” Nick asked. 

Mary nods. 

“Oh god. Good to know.” Nick said smiling and hugs Mary. 

“I'm fine, Nick. Seriously. You can go back to do what ever you were doing.” Mary said smiling and hugging Nick. 

Nick looks at Mary and smiles. 

“Damn I would like to kiss you so badly. This cleaning room it's doing it.” Nick said and moves closer to Mary. 

“Nick. Stop.” Mary said and push him away. 

“You better go or Paris's cousin sees you.” Mary said. 

Nick looks at Mary choked. 

“Gwen is here? You are kidding me.” Nick said. 

“No. She's the one who actually is one those girls.” Mary said. 

“Son of a bitch.” Nick said. 

“OH come on. I'm not her friend or anything. Everything is okay.” Mary said. 

Nick shakes his head. 

“No... If it's about Paris's cousin it's not okay. She's been doing some awful things. She even thought...” Nick said but couldn't say it end. “What? She what?” Mary asked worried. 

“Well Before I wasn't still with Emilia and I was with Nina. Nina is one of my ex who's dead by the way. Nina and Gwen were friends and they thought the same way about Emilia. Nina was very bad for her and that's the reason why I actually break up with Nina. And ended up with Emilia. So... Just be careful.” Nick said and looked at Mary worried. 

“Wanna hear something odd?” Mary asked. 

“Odd?” Nick questioned. 

“Yeah. You know... Today... Richie dumped Gwen, coz she pushed me.” Mary said. 

“Richie who?” Nick asked. 

“I dunno the last name but he's very cute. And then is this Ray. He said Richie only would using me. Would you think Ray could be right?” Mary asked and suddenly cleaning room door opens.
