Chapter 42
Mary and
Jesse were now official break up and Jesse didn’t want to be no longer with
her. Well Jesse didn’t have another choice. They are going to have a son
together. Jesse promised to Mary to take him sometimes to his place at weekends
when he’s getting little bit bigger. Mary was sitting on the bathroom crying
when water was running same time. She couldn’t believe that 5 years ended just like
that. Her heart was so broken and throat hurts of crying. She couldn’t take it
any much longer. She began to find something very sharp to cut her wrists. It
makes her pain even cutting herself, but it’s not hurting much more than crying
and missing Jesse. She finds razor and sat to toilet seat to think. She closed
her eyes and cut her left wrist and then suddenly stops crying. She cut her
right wrists too and then falls to floor against the wall. She lost her man she
truly loves deeply. Blood fall to floor and moves other side behind the
bathroom. Tina was sitting outside watching TV on the 2nd floor and
wonder that Mary was there already 1 hour. She walks to bathroom door and
suddenly slips to something. She looks at to floor and sees blood. “Mary!? Open
up!” Tina hit the bathroom door shouting. Aaron walks out of his room and so
are others. “What is going on?” Aaron asked and looks at Tina. “Look at to
floor, Aaron. How did it make you look like?” Tina was still shouting and tries
to open the bathroom door. Everybody looks at the floor and sees blood. “No!”
Hannah shouts and began to cry when she falls down to floor. Hayden tries to
calm her. “Would someone open that door?!” he yelled to everyone. Kevin walks
to bathroom and tries door. “Mary? Open the door. Now.” Kevin talked to Mary.
There wasn’t respond. Kevin looks at Aaron. “You like so much climbing. Go
outside to climb to wall to window.” he looks at Aaron and Aaron only nods and
is gone. “And someone run to lake to tell Nick.” Kevin said and tries to open
still door. “I’m on it!” Leslie shouts and left to run to lake. Hannah was
still crying so much and her eyes were read. Hayden tried to calm her as
possible he could. Aaron looks at the wall outside and began to try climbing.
He climbs to bathrooms balcony and looks inside and sees Mary’s body on blood. “Kevin!
I can’t get in! Can you hear me!?” he shouted behind the balcony door to Kevin
who was inside behind the bathroom door. “Yes. Break the glass!” Kevin shouts
back to him. Aaron covers his eyes and hits door glass with flowerpot.
Leslie runs
to lake and shouts. “Nicholas!” Nick was sitting on terrace listen some music
and hears someone shouting his name. He stands up and looks at to woods seeing
Leslie. He removes headphones and looks at Leslie who is running like someone
is running after her. “Leslie? What’s wrong?” Leslie stops near to Nick and
gasp her breath cause of running so fast. “Mary… Bathroom…” Points to mansion
way. Nick is confused. “Leslie what is it? I don’t understand you.” Leslie
takes deep breath and then shouts to Nick. “Mary had cut herself with razor and
is locked inside of the bathroom!” “SHE’S WHAT?!” And that second Nick drops
his iPod and runs to mansion as fast he could. Leslie runs right behind Nick
and is hoping that everyone had get her out.

Aaron opens
door to Kevin and walks to Mary. “Mary? Come on. Wake up.” Aaron laps her face
so hard that she must respond but nothing. Kevin walks inside to and tries Mary’s
pulse. “No pulse. Damn. We need to revitalize her, Aaron. You do a mouth and I
do pushes. Got it?” Aaron nods and does it as he was told. Nick walks to
upstairs and moves everyone away from door and looks at to bathroom. He sees
Mary to laying down on the floor without movement. “I got no pulse.” Aaron said
and looks at Kevin and then sees Nick standing near. “What? No…” Nick said and
walks to bathroom and start to give her revitalize. Kevin helps Nick, but no
respond. Others are crying or look so sad. “I can’t watch this. I need some
air.” Nina said and runs downstairs. Fatone walks after her. Tina directs the
site administrators. Nurse touch Nick’s hand. “Sir. We take from her now. Move
please.” Nick moves away and let’s nurses to do their job and looks at next to
them what is going on. “Please. You got a save her. She can’t die.” Nick said
sad, but wasn’t crying. He was crying inside and didn’t want to let other to
know. Kevin stands next to Nick and hugs him brotherly. “It’s okay Nick. She’s
strong. She will make it.” Kevin tries to call him. Nick is just watching Mary when
nurses are trying to save her. “Clear!” other shouts and there was beeping. “What’s
that?” Nick asked and another nurse looks up to Nick. “We got a pulse. We need
to move her to ambulance now.” Nick sighs of relief and so are others too.
Hannah walks to bathroom. “She’s alive?” She asked voice hoarse. Nurses nods to
Hannah and moves her to stretcher. Hannah touch Mary’s hand before nurses moves
her to outside to ambulance. “I need to be with my sister. I’ll come with her.”
Hannah follows to ambulance. Nick is standing on the balcony and looks when
ambulance is driving away from the mansion. Brian walks to balcony and sighs. “How
you doing, Frack?” Nick heard Brian’s voice and turns his head to him and looks
very sad. “Not good, Frick. Not good at all.” Brian walks closer to Nick and
hugs her friendly. “I’m so sorry bro. I know how much you love her. She’s going
to be fine. When she wakes up, she’s going to be faithfully for you. You helped
her back.” Nick start to suddenly crying. “She’s everything to me, Brian. I don’t
know what to do if I lose her.” Brian looks at Nick. “Let’s go to hospital see
her. Wan that?” Nick only nod and walks back inside. Brian and Nick looks at to
bathroom door and sees Bridie standing there looking at to floor where is still
so much blood. Nick walks to Bridie and takes her to his arms. “No Bridie. Don’t
look down there. Let’s go play outside, okay?” Nick looked at to Bridie who
looks at him with her big blue eyes. “Bridie, sweety. I know you can talk so…
Say something.” Nick said and smiles to Bridie. “Where’s mommy?” she asked very
small soft voice. Nick felt his throat start to ache about thinking where she
is. “She’s at the hospital. Do you know what is hospital?” Nick asked and
Bridie only shake her head. “Well hospital is a place where they are fixing
people. And your mom is not doing very good right now. She needs to be there
for while. And that time I will look after you. Would you like that idea?” Nick
asked and Bridie shyly nods. Nick smiles to Bridie and gives kiss to cheek. “Good.
I was hoping you would.” Bridie suddenly hugs Nick and ask. “Would you be my
daddy?” Nick smiles and put her down to floor and goes to her level. “I would
love to and you know what? I am your father.” Nick said and looks at her. “You
are?” Bridie ask. Nick nods. “Yes I am sweety. And now we are going to make
some pancakes and going to hospital and give mommy some too.” Bridie looked
very exciting about the idea and runs to kitchen shouting.”Pancakes! Yay!” Nick
laughs and walks after her to kitchen.
At hospital
in 4 hours waiting Mary began open her eyes weakly. She sees someone but not
very clearly. “Mary? You hear me? It’s your sister Hannah here.” Mary closed
her eyes and opened them again. “Where I am?” she asked weakly. “At the
hospital.” Hannah said and touched Mary’s hand. “Oh my poor little sister. What
were you thinking to take your life like that? You almost died.” she sounded so
sad and confused what Mary was thinking. “I was thinking Jesse. I was so sad
and I needed to take that pain away.” Mary said very hoarse voice. “To take
pain away with another pain? Oh sister.” she gives small kiss to her forehead. “Where’s
Bridie?” Mary asked and looked around. “She’s hallway with Nick. Want me to
invite them in?” Hannah asked and looked at to Mary. Mary looks at to her
sister. “Nick’s here?” Mary questioned. Hannah nods and smiles. “He was so
worried about you. He even give you revitalize to get you back here with us.”
Mary sighs and lick her lower lip cause mouth is so dry. “Can I have some
water?” Hannah nods and gives water to Mary. “So can I ask them in?” Hannah
asked. “Only Bridie please. I don’t want to see him.” Mary gives mug back to
her sister. “But he saved your life.” Hannah looked at to her sister. “Please.
Bridie doesn’t know about that Nick is her father.” Hannah isn’t looking at Mary
and sat down on chair. “What?” Mary asked and looked at to her sister. “Bridie
knows. Nick told her.” Hannah looks at her sister who looks so pissed. “What?!
That son of bitch.” She start to get up off the bed, but Hannah stops her. “Where
are you going?” Mary looks at her sister. “To killing myself.” Hannah looks at
her sister. “Please stop that. Come on. Go back lay down on to bed.” Mari sighs
and lay down back. “Fine. Let her only come.” Hannah walks hallway and says
that Mary only want to see Bridie. “I want daddy to come too.” Bridie said and
Nick goes to her level. “I’m right here waiting. If mommy doesn’t want to see
me then that’s fine. You go and give her those pancakes. Say to her that they
are made from love.” *Smiles to Bridie who smiles to back to him. “Okay daddy.”
Bridie says and walks to inside to see her mommy. “Oh sweetheart. Come here.”
*Lift Bridie to bed. “What you got there?” Mary asked and looks at the box. “Daddy
and I made pancakes for you. They are made from love.” Bridie said and smiles
to mommy. “Oh sweety. Thank you.” *Gives kiss to her cheek and smiles. “Do you
like daddy? Has he been nice to you?” Mary asked and looked at to her daughter.
“Yes mommy. Daddy is funny. He blew to flour bag and his face was all white.”
Bridie said and start to laugh. Mary smiles and hugs t Bridie. “That’s your
daddy alright. Goofyn around.” Mary looks to hall way from window and sees Nick
to standing there looking at her and Bridie. Nick waves his hand and smiles.
Mary smiles back to him and hold Bridie tight against to her chest. “Can daddy
come inside. he looks so lonely out there.” Bridie said and looks at to
hallway. Mary looks at Bridie and smiles. “Sure. Go get him.” Let Bridie down
off the bed carefully. Bridie walks to hallway and pull Nick to room. “Come
daddy.” Bridie climb to bed again and looks at her parents. Nick stands further
away from Mary. “Hi. How you are feeling?” he asked and looks at Mary. “I’m
good. Thank you saving my life. Hannah told me that you saved me.” Mary said
and looks at to Nick. “Actually… Your sister is lying. I did not save you.”
Nick said and walks closer. “She said you gave me revitalize.” Mary looks at to
Nick. Nick looks at to hallway and Hannah is only smiling to them. “Well yeah I
did, but I didn’t get your pulse back.” Put his look back on her. Mary looks at
to hallway and is confused. “Why my sister would say something like that?” she
asked and Nick sat down to chair. “There could be many reasons.” Mary looks at
to Bridie.

“Bridie darling. Can I speak with daddy for moment alone? Go to Aunt
Hannah for moment.” Bridie nods and gives kiss to both and walks out of the
room. “She’s amazing. We made a great kid. I know now everything about her. She
can’t stop talking.” Nick said and smiles to Mary. “I know she is. She’s my
sweet parrot.” Mary said and smiles. “So… Why did you do it?” Nick asked. Mary
sigs and doesn’t look at him. “Please don’t. It’s past now.” Nick stand up and
moves closer to her. “Cause what Jesse did?” Nick asked. Mary doesn’t still
look at him and looks down to her stomach. “What if cause of that?” Mary asked
and touched her stomach. “You almost killed Mike. You are so stupid.” Nick said
and looks at Mary. “Please look at me.” Mary shakes her head. “No.” Nick sighs
and looks down to his feet. “Fine. I’m just trying to friendly here and you are
acting as I’m some kind of dickhead.” Mary moves her head to looks at to him
who is now looking down to his feet and looks very sad. Mary sees Nick hand on
her bed and touch it gently. “I’m sorry. You are not dickhead. I am.” Nick lift
his head up at to see her looking at him. “Yes you are. I wouldn’t know what to
do without you.” Nick said and moves chair to closer bed to sit on near by her.
Mary looks at Nick. “I shouldn’t come to USA.” Mary said with hoarse voice. “Don’t
say that. I’m glad you did. I can’t stop thinking of you. Please move back
here.” Nick said and looks at to Mary to her blue eyes. “Nick… Don’t.” Mary
began to talk, but Nick stops her talks by kissing her gently. “Please think of
it. I still love you so much and I want to spent rest of my life with you and
Bridie.” He said and he kissed her one more time and walked out of the room to
hallway. Mary touched her lips and is not moving. She knows those kisses for real
and words he said sounded so real. Did he meant about everything he said? Mary
looks at to hallway and sees Nick and Hannah talking about something. Hannah
nods and hugs Nick. Then Nick hugs Bridie and let her down. And after that he
walks away from them. Mary gets off the bed and walks slowly to door and open
it. “Nick!” Hannah walks to Mary and holds her standing better. Nick turns
around and sees Mary on her feet. Mary smiles to Nick. “I never stop loving
you!” She shouted at him to other side of hallway. Nick runs back to Mary as
smiling and kisses her deeply. “I love you, Mary.” Nick said and holds her.
Mary smiles and is hugging Nick tightly. “And I love you, Nick. Forgive me.”
